Milk Thistle: |
Cleanses the liver. One known active is silymarin, which is a potent antioxidant especially effective in the liver. This herb was added to the formulation because during the cleansing process, the rate of excretion (i.e. breakdown/detoxification) of body metabolites will increase thereby generating a greater than normal level of free radicals. |
