Answer: NO...PPM is a measure of "parts by weight'. In the case of colloidal silver, one part per million is equal to 1 milligram of silver per liter of water. PPM is a misleading reference many use in determining the effectiveness of silver being transported to your cells. To explain this, a silver dime weighing 1000 milligrams could be placed in a liter of water, which would give you a particle size of approximately 1,000 PPM. Whether you were to swallow the dime whole ("Not advisedl") or grind it up into 1.000 or 1,000,000 tiny pieces, the amount of silver in the liter of water would remain 1,000 PPM. If you keep grinding this dime into smaller and smaller pieces of silver they eventually would qualify in size as a colloid which would be silver particles ranging
anywhere from 1 to 1000 nm, These silver colloids would have very few ions resulting in a low bio-activity. Therefore they would be relatively ineffective towards the killing of viruses and other pathogens inside your cells
